Patients on long-term medication can order repeat prescriptions in the following ways:
- In person: hand your repeat slip in at reception with the items clearly marked.
- Ask your nominated pharmacy
- Online:
Allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed. Take weekends and bank holidays into account.
Electronic Prescribing Service
This practice is set up for the electronic prescription service.
This means that for most patients we can send your prescription to your chosen chemist. This saves you having to come down to the surgery.
To get your prescription sent to your chosen pharmacy you will have to ask reception to sign up.
More information about the Electronic Prescribing Service.
Medication Reviews
If you have a repeat prescription, we may ask you to come in for a regular review. Please book a routine appointment for your review.
Questions about your prescription
If you have questions about your medicine or your prescription please contact the surgery. Complete an online form with your question.
Your local pharmacists can also answer any questions about your prescription. They can answer questions on medicines you can buy without a prescription.
